A little about me.
My name is Linda Evans. I grew up with Pugs in Miami. My father brought our first Pug home when I was about nine. His name was Mac's Toy-Ling, he had a cork screw tail. It curled onto his back, not over like you see now. We loved him dearly. We were Pugged.
When I moved up here near Gainesville, I wanted a Pug for my family. I looked around but they were so expensive. I just wanted a pet, so when I did finally find some reasonably priced Pugs, I decided to breed so everyone could experience the "Perfect Family Pet." That was back in 1998. My first Pug up here, I was going to name Pugsley Wugsley. However, when I brought him home, he beat up my Harlequin Great Dane puppy which was the same age so I named him Pugnacious Little Tuff Guy instead.
Pugs are the greatest. People ask me if they get along well with children. I always tell them when they see a dog dressed up in baby clothes they'll see that it's usually a Pug. That gives you some idea of their personality. They also get along with other breeds but will choose another Pug if given the choice. When you see those TV shows that take you into the beautiful homes, sometimes you see a Pug. Wait, because you'll usually see more than one. That's why I say that they're like Potato Chips. You can't have just one. I have eight, they really are habit forming. But seriously, they're great in the house even if you have more than one because they're basically couch potatoes. They play a little then snooze the rest of the day. All of my Pugs are my family pets and live inside with us.
Well, that's a little about me. If you're interested in any of my Puggies, I have a Puppy Questionnaire and Puppy Contract. Basically, it's to protect my babies. They can always come home to me if your situation changes and you find you can't care for one of my Pugs. Just send them home to me. Linda

A lot of my pictures are from my Puppy Buyers who send pictures of their babies. I have Run-A-Round Sue, Chantilly Lace, Lil Bitty Pretty One aka Bonkers. That's from the Golden Oldies era. My son got involved in naming so we have 2Pac in Heavens Getto and Freek A Leek Shameeka then Gremlins After Midnight is Susie's baby from her last litter and Jocelyn. I lost Big Badd John.
They're so funny to watch when they do the Pugtona. That's when they tuck their tail between their legs, hunch over and run as fast as they can through the house. Just stay out of their way and enjoy.
